Guru Rewben Mashangva is a folk musician from Manipur. Sometimes, fusing blues with the traditional folk music and a player of multiple instruments (including a host of local ones), Guru Mashangva is one of the few musicians in the world who sticks to a particular style of music that touches people’s hearts. The Guru sings both in English and Tangkhul, his mother tongue. This song, Changkhom Philava, sung in Tangkhul, is a very fine example of what the Guru believes in as well as does.
